Hi, my name is Caroline (she/her).

I was born and raised in Southern California. From a young age, I felt a deep, compassionate pull to help those struggling around me. Witnessing the mental health challenges within my family and friends, and facing my own, sparked a profound interest in psychology. Despite pursuing a different major in college, this passion never waned. I decided to minor in psychology and eventually attended Pacifica Graduate Institute, where I discovered depth psychology and the works of Carl G. Jung. This introduction ignited a love for depth psychology, inspiring me to weave its concepts into my own life. With this rich background, I now apply a psychodynamic lens to each client, enriching their therapeutic journey.

I’ve had the privilege of working with clients facing challenges such as depression, anxiety, self-worth struggles, grief, attachment issues, and substance abuse. I have experience working with children, young adults, adults, and couples. My psychodynamic approach uniquely integrates sociocultural factors, ensuring each client’s story is deeply understood and respected in its entirety.

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and a non-judgmental attitude. I employ a psychodynamic lens in my work with clients, integrating Internal Family Systems, which helps individuals understand and harmonize their inner “family” of distinct parts, and Somatics, which focuses on the profound connection between the mind and body for holistic healing. I also incorporate other modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing, when appropriate, to best support my clients’ unique needs.

If you’re considering therapy and think we might be a good fit, I’d be honored to support you.
